Are Dry Eyes Interrupting Your Daily Routine?

Discover a non-invasive solution for dry eyes designed to be gentle and help you experience relief.

We’re excited to offer a modern treatment called iLux. This approach to dry eye care utilizes gentle, light-based heat therapy to warm the blocked glands in your eyelids to a safe temperature. By doing so, it helps soften and express oil from glands affected by meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).

By directly targeting a root cause of your dry eye symptoms—the blockage and stasis of oils within the meibomian glands—iLux treatments can restore proper meibomian gland function and help you get relief from persistent dry eye issues. Our team is thrilled to provide this modern dry eye solution as part of the technology we use. We’re ready to help you bid farewell to the discomfort and irritation of dry eyes.

What is MGD?

The front surface of your eyes is coated with a protective layer of moisture called your tear film. Every time you blink, your tear film is replenished with essential components, including natural oils from your meibomian glands.

Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) occurs when your meibomian glands become blocked or underperform, leading to an imbalance in your tear film composition. This condition can result in the characteristic signs and symptoms associated with dry eye.

iLux Can Be Your Dry Eye Solution

If you’ve been frequently troubled by dry eye symptoms like red eyes, stinging sensations, and watery eyes, MGD could be the underlying cause. By helping release trapped oils in your meibomian glands, iLux treatments can create a path to dry eye relief.

When you visit us, we can help you determine if iLux is the right option for addressing the cause of your dry eye symptoms.
